Alanna Slepitsky is a self-taught and self-proclaimed couch potato, pop-culture fiend and multi-tasker. She can sit in front of the television while tweeting away on her laptop and still know exactly what's happening on American Idol without flinching an eye to look up at the screen (oh, that Simon, what a trip!) She also happens to own a rabbit tentatively named Harpo (after either Oprah or Harpo Marx, depending on who is asking), or Queen B (after either Bitch, Bea Arthur, Barbra Streisand, or RuPaul). Alanna is quite an opinionator (is that even a word?), her business card reads: writer, filmmaker & movie critic (part true, part work-in-progress), she is a Virgo, a master at "that's what she said" jokes, a Russian-Jew, a Ben Affleck fan, both a PC and a Mac, and she sometimes listens to the Jonas Brothers.

In her spare time, Alanna likes to travel, make movies, dream and write "about me" sections in third person.
